As a citizen of any country, you can apply for a work permit for your spouse in Canada. The eligibility criteria for the open work permit include:

• The person must have worked in Canada for more than six months and fall under the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Code 0, A, or B.
• A letter from the spouse’s current employer with specified NOC codes or a copy of the employment letter.
• A copy of the spouse’s open work permit.
• Copies of the last few months’ salary slips.
